I am not certain congratulations are in order, Captain. But I thank you nonetheless, and will look forward to beginning my training.

I would also be grateful if you would convey my displeasure to whichever personnel are responsible for assigning our employment. I am hardly the only imPort to receive work unfitting any preference or experience.

I can pass the message along, but I wouldn't expect apologies if I were you. The fact we make sure all of you are secured any employment at all is more than enough to get you started. Change jobs if you'd like, there's no hurt feelings on our end, but understand how much you're asking. There's hundreds of you and our whole live isn't catered to screening you for ideal employment.
