What you may not be aware of is that I have no previous experience as a singer. My career in my own world dealt with far weightier matters than the entertainment of concerts.

I would like to request that you arrange suitable training for this position. It would be most helpful in my adjustment to your society.

I can pass the message along, but I wouldn't expect apologies if I were you. The fact we make sure all of you are secured any employment at all is more than enough to get you started. Change jobs if you'd like, there's no hurt feelings on our end, but understand how much you're asking. There's hundreds of you and our whole live isn't catered to screening you for ideal employment.
