In Lucifer's case, he hasn't been cooperative since his arrest. Normally, criminals would eligible for the program, however; as he's not been, he won't be seeing the outside for quite some time.

That's good to hear, I guess. Though I'm not crazy about someone like him being eligible if he cooperates. The guy unleashed monsters on the whole country. It should be decades before he sees daylight, if ever.

If he begins cooperating and expresses remorse and a genuine interest in bettering himself, he can be given the opportunity.

I understand this is a worrisome prospect. I have no control over those proceedings, unfortunately.

Just tell me there's a way to keep his powers in check if he ever does get out.

Bingo. My duties are mainly ensuring imPorts are comfortable and meeting their needs if doable. Lucifer lost most of his rights to that the moment he decided to attack citizens and other imPorts.

As long as his tattoo reads Criminal and he remains near any of the Porters, the tattoo itself will react to the technology implanted to nullify his powers. If he actually managed to escape from his cell, he's not getting far enough without his powers.

That actually sounds like a good system. Smart. Keeping him near the Porters means keeping him near the people who can take him down.

He posted on the Network saying that if he complies with the program, the doors open and he walks free. "Good behaviour."

He's also still acting like all the crap he pulled was just an attempt to get home. I'm not sure if I buy that.

It's difficult to know what he was trying to do exactly, but the intent to harm others was clear as day. If it wasn't for you imPorts we would have had worse to deal with.

Yeah. Here's hoping we never have to deal with it again.

I have to say, I was skeptical about whether anyone could hold somebody like Lucifer. But the government's managed to keep him off the streets for months. Whoever's in charge of keeping him contained, you can tell them I appreciate what they're doing.

I get that, Lieutenant. And every day the bad guys stay put, is another day I can trust you guys more. Maybe if the people giving the orders were a little more like you and Moira, there'd be a lot more confidence in the military. As it is...

My fellow soldier and commanding officers are doing everything they can, but I appreciate the vote of confidence, Mr. Taylor.

[ It's obvious though the idea is a bit daunting surprisingly. For all the work she does, she's quite happy where she is. ]
