Still awaiting trial in federal prison. From what he's confessed, he was only hired help and not a part of the group responsible for the kidnappings, so he doesn't know the motivations behind it.

Okay. But how about the people he was working for? What he was doing behind the scenes?

He was simply a pilot for the culprits. He can't name any names. He gladly accepted money and did as he was told without question.

Assuming that is all he knows, are you guys chasing down any other leads to figure out what happened down there?

That case isn't in my jurisdiction, even if it did involve imPorts. Because of civilian involvement, it became the feds' case from day one. If there are any leads, I haven't been informed.

[ And judging from her response? She is not anticipating one from the feds. ]

I'd say it targeted imPorts more than just involving them, so I thought...

Blue Beetle, I will caution you. The feds don't have the same kind of patience some of us have. I can't even be certain they'll tell you what you want to know.
