That's what I was afraid of... [Shakes his head] I suspected that the name was an alias, but I wanted to be certain. There is another name that I would like information on, though, assuming if you can provide it.

[Her answer is disappointing, but not unexpected. If he had placed all of his bets on getting an answer out of Ananke, then the no would have gotten under his skin, and left him flustered and frustrated. But he he had prepared himself for this possibility, so he moves on quickly, keeping his tone civil and even]

Forgive me, Captain, but I had to try - I'm sure you understand how desperate we are for information in this investigation. I won't press the matter, but please, allow me to ask... what information can you give us? In a general sense.

Other than there is currently an imPort named Solf Kimblee? Very little. While I understand the gravity, we're not at liberty to discuss imPort files openly, even among other imPorts that could mislead them or paint others in the wrong light.

Why are you asking about this particular imPort?

[ From her tone however, Edgeworth's intentions are loud and clear. ]

Someone familiar with Kimblee was also investigating the scene, and he claimed that the, ah, unique properties of the explosion matched his handiwork from their home. And I don't mean he was a bombmaker - this was the result of a unique ability he had before he was taken here, not unlike the powers possessed by imPorts. Seeing as how he's the most likely suspect, I wanted some confirmation on his abilities.

Unfortunately, I'm not authorized to do that. It would be a direct violation of our government's policy to distribute personal information. If you have an official order, a warrant or so, then I may reconsider.

But for the time being my answer is no.
